How We Keep Products Fresh Without Preservatives?
Fluffy and Jumpy uses the dehydration technique. It is one of the oldest natural method of food preservation used since 12,000 B.C. By reducing moisture content, bacterial and mold cannot grow. Result is a long lasting treat that has a deep and concentrated flavor.
How To Store Treats?
Moisture and heat are mold and bacterial's best friend, here are some ways you can keep the treats for longer.
- Room Temperature - 1 Month
- Refrigerator - 2 Months
- Freezer - 1 Year
How Do We Eliminate Pathogens From The Treats?
Health and safety is something we do not mess around. At the end of the dehydration process, we bake our treats at high temperature to eliminate any pathogens, including Salmonella, and L. monocytogenes.
Our cooking process includes wearing gloves and mask to prevent any contamination. Any equipment used were thoroughly washed and cleaned after every order.
How Much To Feed Your Pets?
We recommend no more than 1 ~ 2 dog treat per day.
Just remember that each treat were reduced 66% in size during the moisture removal process. The treat will expand again once in the dog's stomach.
